I'm an integrative counsellor supporting adult adoptees and care experienced individuals. My counselling is adoption focused, offering a safe and compassionate space where you can explore your experience, make sense of what has happened, and strengthen your sense of identity. Sessions are available in Belfast or online, so you can choose what feels most comfortable.
As a care experienced adoptee myself, I understand how adoption can shape every stage of life. My lived experience gives me a unique perspective and a deep empathy for the challenges adoptees and care-experienced people often face — from navigating complex family dynamics to finding a sense of belonging.
If you’ve ever felt unsure of who you are, questioned where you fit, or struggled to put your experiences into words, please know you’re not alone. Many adoptees share these feelings — and my approach is to meet you where you are, providing the space to explore your feelings with empathy and understanding. While every adoptee’s experience is different, there may be themes in common and this can be helpful in reducing feelings of isolation.
Therapeutic Adult Support
As an integrative therapist, I work with adults who are seeking support, healing, and growth at different stages of their lives. I believe there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy, which is why I am led by your individual needs. My aim is to help you make sense of what you’re going through, develop new ways of coping, and connect more deeply with yourself and others.
Whether you’re facing the effects of past experiences, navigating life’s challenges, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, therapy can offer a space for reflection and change. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion and respect as you take steps toward greater wellbeing.
